By Greek law, only licensed tour guides are permitted to accompany visitors inside archaeological sites and museums. Tour drivers are not licensed guides nor can they leave their vehicles during site visits.

However, our driver guides are highly experienced and knowledgeable. Before each stop, they will provide you with all the historical context, highlights to look for, and practical information you need to fully enjoy and understand what you are about to see.

If you would like a licensed guide to accompany you inside the sites, we can arrange this upon request for an additional €200-250.

For the Acropolis and other major Athens sites, we recommend purchasing tickets in advance through hhtickets.gr — the official Hellenic Heritage ticketing platform.

For the Acropolis specifically, we strongly advise booking the earliest available time slot (8:00-9:00 AM) to avoid the crowds and the midday heat, especially during summer months.

For sites outside of Athens (Delphi, Olympia, etc.), you can simply purchase tickets on the spot.

We do not take commissions on tickets, which is why we prefer that travelers purchase directly from the source. This ensures you get the best price and have full control over your booking.
